Whitehorse Amendment C172


On 15-16 March 2016, the National Trust appeared at the panel hearing for Whitehorse Planning Scheme Amendment C172.

The City of Whitehorse are implementing one of the first municipal-wide postwar heritage studies in Victoria, so the hearing raised lots of interesting issues about “challenging” heritage, and will set a precedent for future amendments.  Simon Reeves, an expert on Victoria’s modernist heritage, appeared as an expert for the City of Whitehorse.
